In this exciting week of artmaking, we will be doing our little part to save the Earth! We will sculpt, weave, paint, print and explore using recyclables from everyday life in combination with traditional art materials. Students will be inspired by public art in our own cultural district as well as learning about innovative, contemporary artists working with recycled materials to create amazing art around the world. Students will collaborate and experiment together while learning creative ways to make beautiful art with objects destined for the garbage. Our outings in the cultural district will be a great way to get young artists excited about art in their own city.
