Through photography, film, video, painting, sculpture, and mixed media, artists included in this group exhibition weave through circumstances of labor, materials, and the body. Once decoded the artworks will reveal a push/pull in the way bodies, materials and labor present various questions about our society—an automobile being crushed, a fur covered pipe only fit for an oligarch, a video that employs corporate processes, an object rendered from the pathology report of a botched surgery
