2020-2021 BNY Mellon Grand Classics Season

2020-21 Season Update: The Pittsburgh Symphony has canceled all in-person concerts through December 31, 2020. We will be moving forward with a reinvented 2020-21 season that will begin in the fall with newly created digital programming. When we solidify our in-person concert schedule, we will have tickets and subscription packages available for purchase. For the most up to date information regarding the 2020-21 season, click here.

“…we also need conductors who know how to revitalize the grand tradition—and orchestras that can respond in kind. At the moment, Pittsburgh is one of the few places on the international scene where that alchemy regularly happens.” -  Alex Ross, The New Yorker, Feb. 3, 2020

This year the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra celebrates its 125th season!  From exciting collaborations to once in a lifetime concerts, Music Director Manfred Honeck is delighted to present the extraordinary 2020-2021 season, featuring some outstanding stars of the stage like Emanuel Ax, Rudolf Buchbinder, Hélène Grimaud, Gil Shaham, Christian Tetzlaff, Matthias Goerne, Jean-Yves Thibaudet, Yefim Bronfman and Yo-Yo Ma!  When you subscribe, you can have the best seats to experience the power of music with the Grammy-winning Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra live at Heinz Hall.
