Welcome to Pittsburgh’s Cultural District. We look forward to helping plan your visit so you get a standing ovation from your event attendees. The Cultural District is a 14-block area of downtown Pittsburgh conveniently located near the convention center and most host hotels.

The Cultural District has 8 world class theaters, 7 performing arts organizations and many visual art galleries that offer great spaces to host an event or unwind with a group at a show after an informative day of sessions.

We have venues ranging in all sizes hosting all types of performance such as Ballet, Opera, Theater, Musicals, Symphonies, Film, Magic, Visual Art and more. Most venues are also available for rental for private events; from the unique 66 seat speakeasy style Liberty Magic to the modern and sleek 400 seat August Wilson African American Cultural Center to 2600 seat historical Heinz Hall. Catering and AV are available at all venues.

Please consider bringing your group to see a show while you are in town.
